Spring has FINALLY sprung and I am ready to update my wardrobe accordingly! There are so many great trends out there so make sure you check out what pieces you need to be wearing this spring!
Straight leg jeans
Jeans are a staple in everyone’s spring wardrobe, but it might be time for your skinnies to move over. Straight leg jeans are comfortable and flattering on so many shapes and sizes! I am personally loving light wash straight leg jeans and can’t get enough of distressed pairs either!
Printed pants
This trend has been under the radar for a while. It was starting off slow last summer and I think this spring we will be seeing it more and more. What’s nice is you’ll be to find a printed pant in any silhouette you want from straight to flared.
Flare leg trousers
Flares had been creeping into denim and now for spring it’s making its big entrance! Brand are making flare leg trousers with all different trends in mind from the athleisure sporty version to the feminine ruffled style. These are a leg flattering style that I hope stick around through this summer.
Mules
These were a trend that started last spring/summer, but now brands are at the point where they are adding other trends to this silhouette of shoe. Now you can find them open toe, closed toe, flat, heeled, colored, neutral, embellished or plain. The list goes on and on. If last summer was the introduction this spring is the main event for mules
Duster trench
This is a great transitional piece that takes you to from winter into deep spring. A duster trench is perfect because your body is covered and you put on heavier pieces in early spring. Then when it gets warmer deeper into spring a duster trench is light enough to wear over a dress and not be too warm. I absolutely love this trend and can’t stop wearing it now!
Collared maxi/midi dress
The maxi/midi dress is going to be here in a big way for spring. They are so easy to throw on like any other dress but they add an extra sophistication! You can easily find a maxi or midi that fits in with your personal style!
The Wrap Dress
The wrap dress is flattering, it’s comfortable and it’s pretty! Want more? Check out my whole blog post on the wrap trend here!
