I cannot believe April has already come and gone and we are already in May!! The coming months are going to be pretty exciting! We have a long weekend for Memorial Day, my birthday in June, and going on vacation this summer are just a few things I am looking forward to.

American Eagle Vintage High Rise Jeans
Totally in love with this cut and wash. I already loved American Eagle jeans, but the fabric on these is so soft on these I needed to buy them the minute I touched them. I suppose they are so soft to give more of a “vintage effect”. Some people don’t love this overly soft finish because they think it feels cheap. However, for me, the more my jeans feel like leggings the happier I am.
The distressing on these is also what drew me to them. They are in a strange place. Not your usual just at the knees or all over distress. I’m a big fan of the mid-thigh rip for some reason. My favorite part isn’t the softness or the rips. It’s the silhouette. The vintage high rise cut is fitted through the hip and thigh, but straight from the knee down to the hem. This is an extremely flattering cut on my body type and I’m sure many others.
The Jeans were styled with this outfit in my Spring lookbook, check it out if you want to see the rest of the pieces.
Moto Jacket Clutch
This a cute accessory I saw on Ebay then my very sweet fiancé surprised me with it. It’s just an interesting piece I have been throwing on when running errands or out on date night just to give my outfit a little more zing. It doesn’t fit much, but it makes a statement.
H&M Espadrilles
Since spring has sprung these are my go to shoes. They are the perfect in between shoes that are perfect for those days where it’s too warm for boots, but you haven’t gotten a pedicure yet (if you know what I’m saying). They are comfy and pretty on trend, speaking of, if you haven’t seen my spring trends post or video they are linked here and here!
Gold Name Necklace
This is a dainty piece I haven’t stopped wearing all month long. When I don’t know what accessory to throw on, this is the one I toss on. It’s simple, but still gives a little sparkle.

L’Oreal Air Dry It Wave Swept Spray
This spray has been a life saver this month. I have been rushing around like every morning trying to get as much done in the morning so when I get home from work I can just chill. With this I just take a shower, spray this in, and I’m on my way. My goal in life (one of them at least) is to have the perfect low maintenance hair care routine where I can have perfect hair every day. I’m not there yet, but I’m getting there with this product.
Urban Decay Sheer Liar Lipstick
This is my new favorite nude lipstick and that’s saying a lot because I have many lipsticks. Too many if you ask my mom. Anyway, Its sheer, but not too sheer. The shade is my lips but better! It gives my lips the look of being healthy and dare I say JUICY!? I would never use this word describe my lips, but this lipstick makes them actually look fuller which is not something that happens very often.
OPI Quick Dry Drops
These have been a lifesaver when doing my nails before I have to go out or that one time I did them on the train on the way to work. On the bottle, it says 1 to 2 drops and your nails should be completely dry in five minutes. This formula even has a shiny finish when dry if you want to use this instead of top coat if you’re in a real rush. I even finished my bottle and need to repurchase this baby!
Sinful Colors In Yolo Yellow (Worst Name Ever)
I have been wanting a yellow nail polish since I noticed yellow everywhere this spring. Yellow is one of my favorite colors and having on my nails every day makes me happy! I can’t say it’s the most opaque color, but it’s also not the most sheer. Two or three coats get the job done for me. I loved this color so much I painted my nails this color two weeks in a row which something that rarely happens.

13 Reasons Why
This controversial show has me hooked. I know there is a lot of discussion about this show, but it’s a concept you don’t often see in teen shows. I’m always excited to see the next episode and more often than not have to cut myself off before I stay up too late to watch it. I think the story is told from so many different angles and I think that’s what I like best about it.
Samantha Maria
This lady is a dynamo (does anyone use that term anymore?)! She is vlogging, she has a baby, and she’s stylish!? Samantha Maria is going to be my inspiration when I eventually have kids. She also has such cool and eclectic style that I am always curious how she’s going to style something or what she has hauled. Can’t wait to see what else she has in store.
