I know I have already shared this red blazer, but I loved this outfit so much that I had to show it again. I love the combo of the silky printed pajama-style top with the structure of the blazer.
Who doesn’t love when your printed piece matches your solid piece perfectly? This top/blazer combo makes my styling dreams come true! Sometimes it can be difficult to match two pieces of the same color from different brands. The fact that these pieces match almost perfectly is a miracle, and probably why I am so drawn to this look.
I threw on a pair of skinny jeans with this outfit, but a pair of navy trousers with the blouse tucked in would be a great option for the office. Want to take it a step further? Add a pair of cream and navy striped-pants to mix prints while keeping the base color the same.
I finished this look with a pair of magenta pumps because I still love the trend of mixing red and pink. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes, but I don’t get them out that often so this look was a good excuse. If heels aren’t your thing a nice nude or beige pointed-toe flat is always a staple that will elongate the leg while going with a ton of looks (including this one).
Red has got to be my favorite color of the moment. I wrote an entire post all about the pieces you absolutely need in this color—check that out here. This color makes me feel powerful because I’m definitely not trying to blend in when I wear it. There’s something powerful about not caring whether you’re getting noticed or not.
