Another month gone by means another trend to be analyzed. For this month I am going to talk about the fall dress trend.

The Trend

Usually in fall people are ready to cast away their summer dresses and reach for their perfect pair of jeans that they will wear until spring. However, as fall rolls in, it seems that more and more brands are putting out the fall dress. This dress is loose and flowing, knee length or longer, and always a dark color(s). These styles are pretty feminine so we are using this fall dress trend as our last chance to wear ruffles and statements sleeves before our outfits are covered by coats.

I personally love this trend. It is a new take on fall fashion. Usually when fall hits we go straight to denim with cozy knits. The fall dress sticking around keeps fall style a little more light and airy.

How To Style

For early fall I would style the fall dress with bare legs, sneakers, and some delicate jewelry. As we move deeper into winter, adding tights and over the knee boots will warm it right up. Here is some more outfit inspiration.
