We all know the year 2020 has been a doozy. So I thought it would be nice to look back at the year, and be thankful for all the things I have accomplished this year.
Uploaded My 100th Video
I have been uploading videos to Youtube since 2017, and this year I uploaded my 100th video. If you watched that first video and then my latest video back to back you would see a big difference. I have learned so much from just sitting down and doing something. It was tough at times, but I am happy to have learned something completely new all on my own.
I have enjoyed creating video content because it was a way for me to be creative in a different way. It was a challenge to upload over 100 videos, but I think it was worth it.
Got Back into My Fitness Routine
In the six months leading up to our move, I didn’t exercise because we were renovating, and I didn’t have much energy. This year, I was able to get back into a routine of moving my body almost daily. This is so important because I am sitting down at my desk more than I ever have. In 2021, I hope to get outside and walk more often in addition to the 15 – 30 minutes a day I am exercising.
(Mostly) Completed My No Buy
At the beginning of the year as I started a year long no buy, and it has been quite the journey. I have not fully completed it yet (it officially began January 1st 2020), but I am confident that I will complete the remaining 15 days with ease after the last 11 months.
I was able to learn about my clothes, my habits, and myself. Above all else I accomplished a goal that I had previously attempted and failed at. This shows me once and for all that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Reached 250 Subscribers on YouTube
250 subscribers doesn’t sound like a lot in the grand scheme of the internet. However, I am so proud of myself for sticking to creating videos. It is motivating me to know that people actually want to see the content on my channel enough to subscribe. I hope in 2021 that I stay consistent and make more connections within this community.
Moved Into Our New Home
At the beginning of 2020, my husband and I moved into our new home. The actual moving in itself was incredible stressful. However, once we were in our home for good, the stress was all worth it. It was fun to unpack our boxes and make our house a home. My favorite part of getting settled into our home was adding personal touches. We added some new furniture, put up artwork and prints, and placed plants in every room.
I hope this inspires you to make the most out of 2021. I hope you look back and be grateful to how far you have come with accomplishments, big and small.
