Pink has never been “my” color. I can only pull of a few shades so I tend to stay away from this color. However, when I walked into H&M and saw this pink top I was drawn to it. T-shirts are a staple in my wardrobe, but this one has those statement sleeves so it adds a little more femininity than a regular tee.
Next, I added the shorts. These are my all time favorite shorts. They are the Tomgirl fit form American Eagle and they are nice because they sit low on the hips and don’t hug the leg. They make the top look a little more casual.
Finally, the sneakers. If you have been following me on Instagram (if not follow me here!) you know that I love combining pink and red. Any chance I have to put those two bright colors together I do. I chose sneakers for this look because I wanted to make the whole look more casual. Combining the frilly top with the distressed shorts and sneakers makes it easy to wear this top on the weekend out and about with friends or to a casual Sunday brunch.
