If you don’t already know, I love fall. One of the things I love most about fall are the colors. Fall colors are just so rich and warm, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I am immediately transported to crisp weather and crispier leaves. This outfit is perfect for those days when it’s cooler in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. But the star of this look are the colors because I was inspired by the spice tones of fall.

The Clothing
Let’s start with the jacket. This little suede number is in the color spice. Like they actually used the color of spices for this jacket. If that’s not the perfect name I don’t know what is. A suede or leather moto jacket is a great piece for fall because it gives you extra warmth, but not too much warmth to the point of regretting that extra layer and you can always take it off if you get too warm.

On to the top. The top complements the spice jacket by being a super saturated red. I also love the mixing of textures –the soft suede next to the silky blouse is a cool look. Then I balanced out the warm tones in the top with cool-toned bottoms –a pair of good old blue jeans. I feel like this adds another texture, but it’s basically a neutral in my wardrobe at this point.

The Accessories
I finished the look with a belt and a pair of heels. Both accessories are neutral colors. The neutrals are not competing with anything in the outfit so the spice tones can really shine.

This outfit is a perfect option for work. It is conservative to wear to any work environment. If you or your office environment prefer wearing trousers, I think a cute pair of cropped trousers would work with this look as well.

Overall, this outfit pairs simple silhouettes with spicy fall tones to create a work look perfect for the autumn season.
