It is officially fall!
I know I’ve been talking about fall since probably mid-August, but I’m sure you guys aren’t tired of hearing about how much I love fall, right?
September was a pretty super month for me. The last relaxing month before the three busiest months at my 9-5 and probably on this blog as well. This month was especially exciting because I launched How She Styles!! This is the blog I’ve always wanted and I am putting my heart and soul into this and my YouTube channel so if you like how all that sounds then make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!
Now, let’s see what I loved this month!
Beauty
Revlon Lustrous Lipstick in Raisin Rage
With fall finally here, it is officially time to start wearing dark lipstick! This is one of my favorites because it can go super vampy and dark, but with a lighter hand it has a soft berry look. It’s one of my favorite colors for my fair skin tone, so I’ve continued to reach for it.
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Calypso
This neutral dark green shade has been the only color I’ve been reaching for this month. It’s very autumnal in my book, and it’s also not black, which is a bit different for me. There’s just something about putting dark, but not quite black colors on my nails that I just love and this polish has been my color of choice!

The Launch Of How She Styles
After a few months of reflecting on my blog and my brand I decided to let go of The Face Of Style and start this new adventure. I am learning everyday how to get my content out to readers who want to see it. While trying to create the best photos, content, and looks that I can. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
My Weekend in New Hampshire
This was a personal favorite of mine and if you want to see exactly what I did, make sure you check out my post here. This trip was special to me because it was not what I had expected at all. It was a moment of complete silence and serenity, which I don’t get a lot of working in the city. It was nice to get away and do all the outdoorsy things that I don’t get to do as often as I would like, and soak in the last few summer days.
Internet
Emma Hill (EJ Style)
I discovered Emma Hill after watching a string of luxury bag videos. I liked hers because you could tell she was into luxury products, but didn’t take herself too seriously. This is something I generally look for when I’m looking to follow a blogger or vlogger. Fashion is already too serious of an industry, so having a super serious attitude about it is a turn off for me.
Emma was silly and fun, but she was also explaining how each piece worked for her or didn’t. She was blunt and I was hooked. Now I watch all her videos, including her vlogs where she takes secret trips to KFC when she’s running her other errands throughout the day. She is basically my vlogging inspiration if I ever started vlogging. She is also seriously inspiring my style choices lately too!
