Wedding season is upon us, and there is nothing like searching high and low for the perfect occasion look. For the weddings that I’ve attended this year I decided to change things up, and put my little black dress away. I have taken the step over to team jumpsuit. I already love jumpsuits for my casual and work wardrobes. Buying a dressy jumpsuit was a natural next step.

It was easy to find one that fit my style because there are so many options of a dressy jumpsuits in stores and online (shop a few of my picks at the end of this post).

Styling My Jumpsuit
My jumpsuit is a slightly cropped wide leg with a lace yoke, to show off an inset sweetheart neckline and flutter sleeves. I paired this jumpsuit with nude pumps for a classic look, but I when I went to a wedding in warmer weather I switched the pumps out for silver high heeled sandals. Because this jumpsuit is solid black, any shoe option would absolutely work. I prefer heels with a cropped style to make my legs look as long as possible.

I haven’t tried to dress this down, but with the right styling I think it could work for the office. Sneakers or flat espadrilles could make this particular jumpsuit look more casual. The fact that this jumpsuit is all black makes it feel dressy with most shoe options. Any other color besides black or white can be more easily dressed down when it comes to jumpsuits. A printed jumpsuit can be really versatile! Let me know if you want me to style my favorite printed jumpsuit!
