January has come and gone and I have to say it wasn’t too bad.  I am excited for February though because we are one step closer to SPRING! I hope you guys enjoy my favorites!

Fashion Favorites

Nike Flex Supreme TR 3 Women’s Cross Trainers

I am in love with sneakers more than I ever thought I’d be. I never expected to love wearing running shoes on a regular basis, but I DO!  These sneakers are so comfortable and easy to wear that I find myself choosing them whenever I want to look casual, yet put together.  Their sleek black and white design makes them a perfect pair with just about everything.

Long Cardigan from H&M (similar linked)

I feel like long cardigans are what delicate (yet stylish) french girls wear when they are loitering around after fashion week.  At least that was the image I had in mind when I purchased this.  This cardigan is soft and warm, and helps pull together any look. My favorite look is this paired with a collared shirt and a pair of jeans.

LC by Lauren Conrad Statement Necklace (similar Linked)

I bought this necklace because at the time, I didn’t own anything like it.  I think the delicateness of the necklace contrasts well with the weight of a sweater, making for a great pairing that really appeals to me.  I don’t have many statement necklaces, but this is one I keep reaching for.

Beauty Favorites

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Body Sugar Scrub in Sleep

First of all, this scrub smells amazing.  When I first bought this, I heard that people like the sleep scent in the pillow spray, but I would never buy a whole spray just for my pillow, so I went for the body scrub.  Holy Moly!  This makes my skin feel so soft.  The first time I used this I was asking people to touch my arms so they could understand how soft my skin was.  The vanilla and lavender scent also makes me want to just curl up in bed and fall asleep.

The only thing I will add is that the granules are pretty rough, so if you have sensitive skin, you may not want to use this scrub.  I tried using this on my face and it didn’t end well.  My face ended up being really soft, but I also broke out almost immediately.  So keep it on your body and you should be ok!

Jordana Lip Liner In Plush Plum

This $3 lip liner blew me away.   I was pleasantly surprised to find out how creamy it was and how smoothly it glided over my lips, not to mention the color!  I love this deep plummy color for winter, and you really need a precise application for colors like that, so this lip liner is perfect!

Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette

As you may have seen from my “What I Got For Christmas” post, the lovely Sadie from Chic Avenue Daily gave me this incredible eyeshadow palette with all matte shades.  There are twelve shades and they are all pretty neutral, but that is what I love about them!  I have been reaching for at least one shade from this palette every day I’ve done my makeup,  and I can’t wait to keep creating different looks with it.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Honey

A lot of pale beauty bloggers were saying this was their holy grail lip product of the year 2014, so I had to see what all the fuss was about.  Truth is, this is a great soft pink that is super easy to apply and wear everyday.  It’s a very versatile product that can be a part of many different looks, and the formula is comfortable on the lips. This lip product is a winner on all accounts.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar

If I want to wear something matte, this is the lipstick I go for.  The formula is slightly drying, but the color is the perfect soft mauvey pink.  This lipstick goes well with just about any eye look.  I can just put it on and forget about it.

Favorite Youtubers

Nicole from Young, Wild, and Polished

I started watching Young, Wild, and Polished because Kathleen Lights always talks about Nicole’s videos.  Once I tuned in, I was hooked!  She has a quirky personality, and she says whatever’s on her mind, and I love that!  She has been posting great hauls and swatch videos, so if you’re into longer, more in-depth videos, she’s your lady.

Tati From Glam Life Guru

Tati is a whole different story.  Her channel generally has very concise videos with a dash to the drugstore or a review on whether something is worth the hype.  She also gives great tips for skincare, makeup application, and lots more.  You just gotta go check her out.

I would love to hear who your favorite bloggers and youtubers are, so write them in the comments below!
