This is probably one of my favorite autumnal looks. I love this outfit because of the color palette and mixing of materials. The shape also gets me, with a flowy dress over the masculine and oversized blazer. The blazer is a little big with oversized shoulder pads, which I may have to remove. Let me know if you think they’re over-the-top.
The dress is a long sleeve number with a ‘60s print that I thought went perfectly with the speckled yarn of the blazer. It’s almost like mixing two prints, which has been my favorite activity lately. I finished this outfit with a pair of purple heels that stay within the warm color palette of the rest of the look.
This dress and blazer combo is perfect for an office setting. You will look polished while still showing off your personal style. If you’re not into mixing prints, another option would be to switch out the printed ‘60s dress for a chambray style shirt dress.
Not into dresses? Wear a floral top with one or two colors from the blazer to tie the two pieces together. Complete the look with a pair of dark wash denim jeans or navy trousers.
I really do love this outfit because I think it’s perfect for those warmer days in fall. Even when the temps get a little colder you can throw on some tights to warm up.
