When it comes to fall trends, this is one of my favorites! The Victorian trend is details from the romantic period mixed with edgy rocker details.
The reason I love this trend the styling fit into my fall and winter style. I love mixing feminine and masculine details and at its core, that’s what this trend is. This trend mixes feminine soft fabrics, covered buttons, and high necks with leather, hardware, and chunky shoes. The two sides of this trend are melded together with the dark and moody colors that are a combination of soft neutrals and deep jewel tones. Here is my take on this trend from my own wardrobe. I used my only Victorian style blouse to be the base of this look because it has all those romantic details such as a high neck and balloon sleeve.

Next, I wanted to find something to balance the look and give it the more rocker side of this trend. I decided to add my Doc Marten boots to accomplish this. These are my go to shoes when I want to look like a bad ass because they are so chunky and sturdy that they just make me feel powerful.
Finally, I needed a bottom to complete the look. I didn’t want to give you guys an all-black look so I added my black and white printed pants. I feel like these would be what I would wear if I was a rocker, but they are high waisted so they give off a slightly feminine vibe.
Dark lipstick is one of my favorite finishing touches in the fall and winter so it seems perfect for this outfit.
